About Leslii       Studio 23                                               Artwork                                        Triniti's Closet

I am an artist, designer and stay at home mom trying to make a living through my craft. Everything I make incorporates the reuse/recycle philosophy--gosh, there are a lot of lovely forgotten things out there. I also work hard to spread the word about the DIY (do it yourself) Movement, and assist other crafty folks in finding their own bliss.

Leslii C. Stevens creates her paintings at  her studio in Hudson, Massachusetts.  She lives with her husband Greg Classen, their daughter Triniti, two cats Tucker and Ashbii along with their Husky Stolii, and from time to time many other dogs who may need a home for a day or two and even sometimes longer.  Originally from Connecticut, she started painting at a very young age and has always had a love of the arts.  She found her way to Massachusetts for college in the early 80's.  Leslii was a graphic designer in the mid 80's and 90's.  Then one day the opportunity came along to own and operate a custom picture framing shop in Western Massachusetts.  Everything just started to fit together, with Her love of paintings and how to unite them with  just the right matting and frame.  Leslii has been a professional picture framer since 1994, and finally sold the frame shop to put her own artwork first.  Her artwork can be found in many private collections throughout the United States and Canada.  She has had many solo art shows since 2003, and has  been apart of lots of group art shows.  She has shown her work in many arts and crafts shows around New England that have been juried.  Her art can be found in some local art galleries in and around Acton, Cambridge and Boston Massachusetts, along with Damariscotta, New Harbor, Nobleboro and Pemaquid Point Maine and Nashua New Hampshire.

Leslii started creating handcrafted jewelry in the spring of 2006.  After spending lots of time learning all the techniques in making high quality jewelry, she then gathered all the right tools needed for the job.  Getting right into the ins and outs of crafting and designing her own style.  She has spent lots of time traveling the world with her husband, Greg who works for Jonny Lang.  While on her journeys  she has picked up many wonderful beads, and vintage jewelry  to be reworked into new pieces, and some lovely bobbles to add to her very unique style. She is one who thinks outside of the box.   Leslii has named  her jewelry line "Triniti's Closet" after her daughter Triniti, who has brought so much joy and happiness to her life on a daily base.  Triniti’s Closet can be found in many boutiques across the United States.

"I guess I see things differently. I see found objects transforming a piece of paper into something
fun and beautiful. Everything I create comes from an intuitive relationship with those "treasures"
-whether they are everyday objects or things from faraway lands and long-ago times. I love the
way color works inside my head. I can not explain the process. I just know that I love making
common things into something new-art for others to enjoy."
