This class is designed to move students through a variety of standing, sitting, and supine postures. Each class follows some format of centering, breathing exercises, and warming up the body to allow students to go deeper into a sequence of yoga poses. These poses are intended to open the chest, hips, stretch out the back, thighs, and calf muscles while helping to calm the mind and the nervous system. By integrating breath with movement, we begin to balance strength and ease both on and off the mat. This class is appropriate for all levels.
