"Yoga saved my right leg!" From the very first moment Leslii stepped onto a mat in 2015. She knew she had found a place where she belonged. After having gone through one knee surgery and two other surgeries to repair a blown achilles and try (It came grew back!) and remove a tumor growth that lives on her right achilles (Leslii refers to it as "Arnold"), not only did Leslii find an avenue for physical relief, but she also found a place where living with PTSD had a safe space for emotional relief as well. Yoga has saved her life. After discovering all the magic yoga had to give, Leslii made a personal commitment to practice daily. Magic was slowly making it's way into Leslii's life. The stronger her body and mind got the more she wanted to know about the human body. Who knew that Boxing was just around the corner and it was about to make a very big impact. In the fall of 2017 Leslii walked into Title Boxing Club and has been "hitting it hard" 5 days a week since. By integrating her love and passion of photography and her new found addictions yoga, boxing and meditation, she feels as if some magical place has been discovered. After only two and half years of showing up on her mat every damn day; Leslii pretty much put everything on hold and went back to school at the age of 50 to become a Yoga Teacher...Yoga, what a plot twist you are.
Leslii teaches private yoga lessons out of her home studio in Hudson, Massachusetts. Where you will most likely find her with her rescue dog Skyy, a Great Pyrenees mix not far behind. She is very much involved in saving dogs and has worked with many dog rescues as a foster. You can always find her with a camera in her hands, and will do some of the craziest things to get a photo of a feather. Instagram was basically made for Leslii.
