Leslii Stevens is an artist, photographer, yoga teacher, and Mom based just outside of Boston Massachusetts. Originally from Connecticut, she started painting at a very young age, but when she picked up a camera and shot her first live concert she was hooked right away.  Her work has been shown throughout the United States in solo and group exhibitions. Leslii has traveled the globe living on tour buses with numerous musical icons including Jonny Lang, Buddy Guy, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Zakk Wylde, The Presidents of the United States of America, Dweezil Zappa, Eric Johnson, Eric Gales, Brad Whitford, Rich Robinson, Ana Popovic, Beth Hart, The Record Company, Kev Mo, Quinn Sullivan, Doyle Bramhall II, Mato Nanji, Henri Brown, Tony Franklin, Bootsy Collins, Billy Cox, Chris Layton, Honor By August and Runaway Saints just to name a few. She has shared the big stage with Imagine Dragons at a "home" town gig making the TD Garden her playground for a night. Fenway Park became a backdrop for Billy Joel and from that Madison Square Garden in New York City.  Bringing her unique style on the road, she captures a side of these musicians that is rarely seen. Leslii is the Tour Photographer for Experience Hendrix. She has also been featured in numerous publications such as Guitar World Magazine, Improper Bostonian Magazine, The Boston Globe, Pollstar, The Huffington Post, Daily Record Press London England UK, and Daily Echo Press UK. Along with working as a photographer and writer for New England Concert Reviews.

The Yogi Mechanic

Leslii first stepped onto a mat in 2015 she found where she belonged. After knee surgery, yoga felt like an incredible avenue for physical relief. Even more importantly she found a safe space and emotional relief from her PTSD.

Leslii made a personal commitment to practice daily. The stronger her body and mind became, the more she wanted to learn. By integrating her love and passion for art, photography, and her newfound love of yoga, boxing, and meditation, she discovered a magical place.

After only two and half years of showing up on her mat, Leslii put everything on hold and went back to school at the age of 50 to become a Yoga Teacher.

Leslii is a registered 200-hour and 300-hour Yoga Teacher. She received a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training in 2018 from Revolution Community Yoga, a 300 hour Yoga Teacher Training in 2020 from Sacred Seed Yoga School,  a 500-hour Yoga Teacher Training in 2021 Yoga Liberation Front and another 500-hour Yoga Teacher Training in 2022 Yoga Liberation Front. She has advanced certification in Trauma Sensitive Yoga, and accessibility Yoga. She also holds a certification in The Balanced Athlete. She has a certification in Yoga Therapy for Emotional Health & Healing Training in 2022 Soulful Yoga Therapy. Leslii is also a Reiki Master Teacher.  Leslii is currently working towards her Black Belt in Karate, and is in Family Martial Arts Karate Instructor program becoming a kick ass yogi ninja!

Leslii teaches a class where she takes her students on a journey that allows them to really start to understand and connect with their bodies. Affectionately called the Yogi Mechanic by her students. Leslii is the founder and owner of CoyDog Botanicals & Yoga, Fight for My Soul Yoga School and Studio 23 Photography specializing in live concert and yoga photography and is also the Co-Founder of Limitless Fitness Yoga Wellness Inc.

Leslii teaches private yoga lessons out of her home studio in Hudson, Massachusetts. Where you will most likely find her with her rescue dog Skyy, a Great Pyrenees mix not far behind. She is very much involved in saving dogs and has worked with many dog rescues as a foster.  You can always find her with a camera in her hands and will do some of the craziest things to get a photo of a feather.  Instagram was basically made for Leslii.

But the most important thing to Leslii is the ever-continuing project "The everyday life of a mixed media artist" sharing her journey of creativity through her paintings, art journals, photography, and yes, yoga too. She says it's like a self-portrait or a book of me that only ends when she does; sharing each moment one breath at a time.
