What a time to be alive!
We are so grateful you’ll be joining us for online yoga classes.

Vinyasa Flow yoga class is designed to move students through a variety of standing, sitting, and supine postures. Each class follows some format of centering, breathing exercises, and warming up the body to allow students to go deeper into a sequence of yoga poses. These poses are intended to open the chest, hips, stretch out the back, thighs, and calf muscles while helping to calm the mind and the nervous system. By integrating breath with the movement, we begin to balance strength and ease both on and off the mat. This class is appropriate for all levels. We will focus on these being morning classes.
Yin-infused Yoga, if you have never been to a Yin Yoga class before, don't worry! As the class goes on, there will be periods of silence on my part, as we hold shapes for 3-10 breaths at a time before transitioning to the next shape. We will find stillness in Restorative Poses, where we hold these maybe a little longer, closer to 10 minutes. We may flow a little, kind of like a Vinyasa Flow Yoga Class, one breath, one moment. But mostly we will be infusing a lot of Yin Yoga in this practice. Discover what a Yin Infused Yoga Class can do for your stiff, cranky body. It is a great way to improve Flexibility, Mobility & Joint Health for Inflexible People. Yin yoga takes a more meditative approach, going much deeper than the physical focal points of Yang-related practice. It is a proven fact that as you age, your joints become less flexible. So Yin Yoga makes sure the health and flexibility are maintained. Yoga helps to unclog and balance the energy pathways that connect everything within your being. Using props such as blankets (towels), pillows, blocks (thick books), and straps (ties, scarf, towel) to help us along our journey, the mindful way.
Regardless of whether I’m speaking or silent, I’ll be there, holding your space. All levels are welcome. We will focus on these being evening classes. preparing us for a good night's rest and allowing the release of the day's tension and stress.

Never been to a Restorative Yoga Class before, don’t worry! I usually call it the best “slumber party” ever. There is no right or wrong way to do it, closing your eyes is encouraged. props such as blankets (towels), pillows, blocks (thick books), and straps (ties, scarf, beach towels) we put our bodies into gentle shapes and just LET OUR BODIES BREATHE & SOFTEN. There is no right or wrong way to do it, closing eyes is encouraged, and falling asleep sometimes happens. As the class goes on, there will be periods of silence on my part, as we hold shapes for 5-10 minutes at a time before transitioning to the next shape. Regardless of whether I’m speaking or silent, I’ll be there, holding your space. All levels are welcome. We will focus on these being evening classes. preparing us for a good night's rest and allow the release of the day's tension and stress.

Private Yoga Classes may also be arranged through Zoom. This is a wicked fun way to bring all your family members far and near "virtually" together all in the comforts and safety of home.

We are not the most tech-savvy yogis by any means, so thanks for being patient with us as we get used to the new normal and teaching these online classes.

What you’ll need:

Yourself, most importantly! :)

Two or three pillows, some cozy blankets, 2 blocks (thick books to use as blocks, 2 ), Strap ( so think Tie, scarf, towel) no yoga mat no worries, you may use a blanket or beach towel for Restorative and yin Infused, maybe place on a rug.

As for Vinyasa Flow anything that won't let you slip.
Dress in comfy clothes (think sweatpants, t-shirts, hoodies, or long sleeves)

Create your space, dim the lights or light some candles, incense, burn some sage (keep all flames away from you and your yoga props) before class whatever sends a signal to your body that it’s time to unwind.
We are so wicked grateful to be able to offer these online classes and that you will be joining us. I know this is such a difficult time in many ways for everyone. Teaching yoga is a livelihood.
